Salon Deposit and Cancellation Policy
To provide the best service to all our clients, we have implemented a deposit policy to secure your appointment. Please read the following terms carefully

New Clients:
• Deposit Amount: A deposit of 15% of the total service cost is required at the time of booking for all new clients.
• Non-Refundable: Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a future appointment. We understand that sometimes you may need to change your plans. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we require at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
• No-Show or late arrivals: In the event of a no-show or if you are 15 minutes late for your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited.
Services $200 or Over:
• Deposit Amount: A deposit of 15% of the total service cost is required for all appointments over $200, regardless of whether you are a new or returning client.
• Non-Refundable: Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future booking. We understand that sometimes you may need to change your plans. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require the cancellation at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
• No-Shows & Late Arrivals: In the event of a no-show or if you are 15 minutes late for your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited.

Payment Deadlines:

• Payment Due: Deposits must be paid before the close of business on the day the appointment is made. Failure to pay the deposit by this time may result in your booking being cancelled.
• Payment Methods: Deposits can be paid through:
o Fresha Online Booking App
o Fresha Portal (link will be sent via SMS)
o Bank Transfer (upon request)
o In-Store Payment
Application of Deposit:
• Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment.
No-shows or late arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule your service to ensure there is enough time to deliver the best experience for you and our other booked clients. In such cases, your deposit may be forfeited.
Refunds:
Deposits are non-refundable unless adequate notice, listed above, is given for your appointment reschedule or cancellation, or if your appointment is rescheduled or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances on our end. In such cases, your deposit will be fully refunded or applied to a rescheduled appointment, whichever you prefer.
Changes to Policy:
MK Hair Artistry reserves the right to amend or modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients in advance.
